Fatesend Server Rules

By registering and playing on Fatesend, you agree to follow these rules. They apply to every player without exception. Ignorance of the rules will not be an excuse if you break them.

1. Definitions & General Agreement

• Player: A person who plays on the Fatesend server.
• Staff: Volunteers who manage and support the server.
• Game Account: The account you use to log into the game.

By registering an account, you automatically accept these rules. Staff may change the rules at any time without prior notice.

2. Account Management & Multi-Client Policy

• Multi-Client Rule:
  One Client is allowed at a Time: You are not allowed to control more than one game client simultaneously.
  Sharing or using multiple accounts at the same time from one player will lead to sanctions.
• Account Sharing:
  Do not transfer or share your account access with anyone else.
  Sharing or giving access to a guest or any other account may result in a ban for all linked accounts.
  Server Staff will never ask you for your credentials.

3. Game Client, Third-Party Software & Cheating

• Official Client Only:
  Use only the game client provided on our website.
  Do not modify game files or use unauthorized custom files (except for approved UI skins or music files).
• Automation and Bots:
  Using macros, auto-clickers, bots, or any automation software is forbidden.
  Tools that interact with the game (other than approved recording programs or tools needed to run the game) must have staff approval.
• Bug Exploitation:
  Exploiting or abusing bugs to gain an advantage or disrupt gameplay is not allowed.
  Report bugs to staff immediately instead of using them.

4. Gameplay & Market Regulations

• Fair Play:
  Do not exploit bugs, grief other players, or interfere with their gameplay.
  Kill stealing (taking a monster from another player) is prohibited. Use the @noks command correctly to secure your engagement.
• MvP and Boss Fights:
  All MVP and mini-boss battles are free for all.
• Vending & Market Conduct:
  Set up your vending spots without reserving areas or blocking access for others.
  Advertise your shop honestly; do not misrepresent item rarity, value, or overprice items intentionally.
  Scamming or deceptive trading practices are not allowed.
• Griefing and Harassing Gameplay:
  Use skills and abilities to help or compete fairly—not to harass or trap other players.
  Do not monopolize mobs or force others into unfair situations.

5. Communication Guidelines

• Respectful Interaction:
  Always use polite and clear language in all chats (in-game and Discord).
  No insults, threats, harassment, hate speech, or spam.
• Channel Use:
  Keep trade messages in designated channels and use English in global chats.
  Do not advertise other servers or spread misinformation about players or staff.
• Impersonation and Naming:
  Do not use names or prefixes that mimic staff or mislead others.
  Choose character, guild, party, and pet names responsibly.
• Staff Interaction:
  Treat staff with respect. They are volunteers who deserve your patience.
  Staff will never ask for your password or private information.

6. Reporting, Proof & False Reporting

• Evidence Submission:
  When reporting an infraction, include a recording (using the client’s replay tool) or a screenshot with a clear timestamp.
  Evidence is kept confidential to protect reporters and prevent harassment.
• False Reporting and Baiting:
  Do not misuse the reporting system to threaten or frame others.
  Engaging in “baiting” (provoking others to break the rules) is also prohibited.

7. Sanctions & Enforcement

• Punishment Options:
  Violations may result in temporary or permanent bans, IP or hardware blocks, item confiscation, chat mutes, or in-game penalties like jail time.
• Escalation:
  Repeated or severe rule violations can lead to harsher penalties, including permanent suspension from the server.
• Proof-Based Actions:
  Sanctions are applied only when clear evidence is provided by player reports, direct observation by staff, or server logs.
